We collect only the information needed to create, deliver and support your book:

• Photos you upload to create the hero's illustrated likeness.
• The hero's name and story choices, including the selected story and art style.
• Account information, such as your email address and securely protected sign-in credentials.
• Order and delivery information, including recipient, address, phone number and quantity when you order printed copies.
• Payment status. Stripe processes card details; MeStory does not store your full card number.
• Basic usage and technical data needed to operate, secure and improve the service.

• To create your personalised illustrations, digital book and printed copies.
• To process payments, fulfil orders and provide delivery updates.
• To keep your books available in your account and provide customer support.
• To prevent fraud, protect the service and meet legal obligations.

We do not use uploaded photos to train AI models or use them in advertising.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share only what is necessary with trusted providers that help us operate MeStory, including:

• Stripe for secure payment processing.
• AI image providers for generating your personalised illustrations.
• Print and delivery partners for producing and shipping printed orders.
• Hosting, storage, email and analytics providers that support the service.

MeStory and Storybook Magic are co-brands operated by the same company. Information is not moved between the two services for unrelated marketing; it may be handled together only where needed for shared account support, security, order fulfilment or legal compliance.

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your books and maintain site preferences. We may use basic analytics to understand site usage. We do not use these technologies for targeted advertising.

Account details, orders and generated books are retained while your account is active so you can access and download your purchases. Some transaction records may be kept where required by tax, accounting or other laws. You may request deletion of your account, uploaded photos and associated personal information by contacting us. We aim to process valid requests within 30 days.

MeStory is intended for use by parents, guardians and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will investigate and remove it promptly.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or object to certain uses. You may also opt out of non-essential messages. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
